These are her hot tips for making your home feel fabulous this festive season.
Christmas is fast approaching but there’s still plenty of time to transform your home into a festive and welcoming wonderland. Start with a theme - go traditional or create your own!
First select your colour palette to compliment your home and then develop the story from the front door to the dining table.
These days faux trees, wreaths and garlands are convincingly real, but gathering fresh leaves, branches and vines provides an organic sensibility and a distinctly Australian flavour.
My home has a classic French flavour featuring a palette of naturals with accents of gold, black and hints of red in fabric and artwork, so I have selected this colour palette to dress my traditional wreath, tree and garlands used on staircase and mantel.
I carry this scheme through to the table featuring oversized glass hurricanes filled with baubles, paired with gold cutlery and an abundance of pillar candles - all displayed on a gold footed platter.
I like to buy one very special piece each Christmas that then becomes a family heirloom. It may be something as simple as a tree topper or an accessory for the table.
This year I have fallen in love with a full sized Santa
from our new Christmas Shop Collection.
Santa will take pride of place in our entry foyer - where he’ll provide a beautiful and memorable welcome to friends and family.
