Wishing you all a Happy Easter 2020! While we're all encouraged to stay at home this Easter - that doesn't mean this holiday has to be boring. There's plenty fresh and fun decor ideas to make the home feel special this coming long weekend.
For adults, it can be a nice way to get creative and festive. It's also important to keep Easter egg-citing for the kids - think egg hunts, bunnies and spring-like colours. There are tons of DIY ways of creating this special day, here we are going to give you some inspiration for this year!
Painted Easter Eggs
This is a great Easter activity, let the little ones get creative (with a boiled egg of course!) lay out finger paints and palettes for some down time and use the finished ones as decor later on the table or around the house.
Floral Centrepieces
This time of year brings out some glorious colours in nature, using native Australian flowers can be great to dry and last forever. Daisies, daffodils and sunflowers are traditional for Easter decor but feel free to get into some lavender or other herbs and enjoy the floral aroma around the house too.
Bunny Napkins
Cute for both adults and kids, creating a simple standing bunny napkin is a fun piece to any Easter table decoration and can double up as a name card placement.
Woodland Theme Decorations
Nothing cuter and more appealing to the little ones than a woodland themed table and celebration. Toy animals, tree stump stools, pine cones, table moss all these things make for an imaginative creation. Also, it's a great way to hide any chocolates that should be saved for desert!
