Interiors Online Trading Terms and Conditions.

The Interiors Online website is Australian owned and operated by Paley Enterprises Pty Ltd as Trustee for the David Ford Paley Trust (ABN: 60 989 238 024), trading as Interiors Online (Interiors Online). Your use of our website (including the purchase of any goods from the website) is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Important Notice: These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally enforceable agreement with Interiors Online. If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions, you are not permitted to use this website and should immediately exit from it.

Your use of our website constitutes your acceptance and agreement to these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions thoroughly.

Interiors Online reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice to you. Your ongoing use of the website following any amendment or modification constitutes an agreement by you to abide and be bound by the amended or modified Terms and Conditions.

Order Placement:

Any order that is placed by you through this website is an offer by you to purchase a product/s for the price (including delivery, and any other charges and taxes) specified in this website at the time you placed your order or where the price cannot be determined at the time the order is placed, then as advised by us. We reserve the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including, without limitation, the unavailability of any product/s, an error in the price or the description of the product as shown on this website or due to an error in your order.

 

Ordering Procedure:

1. How to Order

Ordering with Interiors Online is simple-please follow the below steps.

  • Simply add any items that you wish to purchase to your shopping cart.
  • Interiors Online provides a built in Freight Calculator that automatically calculates the delivery costs associated with your order.
  • Simply place your item/s in your shopping cart and add your delivery postcode. The freight calculator will then review your postcode as well as the value of your order to determine the delivery charge.
  • All delivery costs are subsidized by Interiors Online to ensure that you receive the best possible delivery price to your door anywhere in Australia.
  • All orders over a value of $2,000 to metropolitan Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are FREE.
  • Interiors Online Mission Statement is to provide our customers with the best range of products available anywhere in Australia at the most competitive prices and with the highest level of customer service.
  • At the checkout you will be asked to complete certain information and expressly agree to our trading and delivery terms as outlined in these Terms and Conditions before proceeding to the secure payment gateway.
  • For payment by credit card you will be redirected to the secure EWAY Credit Card Payment Gateway to complete your payment.
  • Once your order has been completed your shopping cart will be cleared for future transactions.

2. Processing of your Order::

  • Interiors Online will not process your order until full payment of the order has been received by us (in cleared funds).

3. Out of Stock Situation:

  • In the event that a product is out of stock Interiors Online will contact you by email or phone and give you an indication as to availability and an anticipated delivery time.
  • If you have paid for an item/s that have subsequently sold out or are not available and you do not wish to proceed with your order you will be offered a full refund.

 

Pricing:

Prices of products and any charges and taxes displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but may change at any time and are subject to availability. All prices shown on this website are in $A (Australian Dollars.) Prices are applicable in Australia only.

All prices are exclusive of any delivery charges which will be advised separately if applicable.

Changes to Pricing:

Trade/Member discounts do not apply to certain marked Replica Furniture and Outdoor products.
Trade/Member discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or coupon.

Delivery Information:

Delivery Address:

Please provide us with a delivery address where deliveries can be made during normal business hours from Monday and Friday. A Post Office box address cannot be accepted.

If there is nobody to sign for the goods when they are delivered the freight carrier will leave a missed delivery advice card in your letter box advising of the failed delivery. The goods will then be returned to their local depot and you will then need to make contact with the freight carrier directly to arrange an appropriate time for a re-delivery.

Delivery Instructions:

Please provide clear delivery instructions within the "Special Delivery Instructions" area of the checkout. Many of the products on our website are large and heavy in nature and may require special  delivery arrangements. It is imperative that you provide us with any special delivery details relating to your delivery address. Should your delivery address be in an apartment block, high rise building, block of units or flats or have restricted access you must notify us, so that special arrangements can be made if necessary.We reserve the right to charge for any additional freight costs involved with making or fulfilling any special delivery arrangements.

Delivery Times:

If your order contains multiple products then individual products may be delivered on different days, depending on the availability of freight carriers on any given day to facilitate the delivery.

In most cases we expect delivery to have be completed within 10-21 days of placement of your order, depending on where you live, however please not than on occasion delivery times may change based on factors outside of our control such as supply interruptions or your delivery location.

To ensure that your items are delivered safely to your delivery address it is advisable to have someone there to be able to sign for the goods. Your contact details and phone numbers are passed onto our logistic companies and they are requested to contact you in advance to advise of the anticipated date and approximate time of delivery.

Interiors Online will do everything possible to request that the logistic company contacts you in advance, but unfortunately we cannot be held responsible if they do not facilitate such a contact.



Receipt of Delivery:

Before signing as having received the products in good order please unpack and check the product/s for any faults or damages. If you have any concerns you must make the appropriate notes on the delivery cart note before signing it and ask the driver to initial your remarks. If possible, please take a photo of the fault or damage immediately following the delivery.

You must notify Interiors Online of any faulty or damaged goods within 48 hours of receipt of the goods by phone on (08) 83387400 or email stephanie.n@interiorsonline.com.au

Once we have received your advice of any faulty or damaged goods we will liaise directly with our Supplier/s to resolve the issue. Please refer to the Refunds & Returns Policy section for more information.

 

Insurance:

Interiors Online will arrange delivery on your behalf. Transit insurance will be taken out by Interiors Online and/or our suppliers to ensure that your goods are fully covered for any accidental damage or breakages that may occur during the delivery process.

Payment Security:

Your privacy and the security of your information is of paramount importance to us. All our online payments are processed using EWAY which is a premium e-commerce payment gateway.

If making a payment by credit card over the phone your credit card details will be taken by an Interiors Online staff members. Once the payment has been processed and authorised your credit card details will be destroyed.

 

Risk and Title:

All risk in supplied products will pass from Interiors Online to you at the time of delivery to you. The ownership of products remains with Interiors Online until full payment for all supplied products has been received by Interiors Online.

 

Limitation of Liability:

We have taken all reasonable efforts to ensure that the contents of this website and the information provided are accurate and up to date. However, we do not give any representation or warranty as to the accuracy and completeness of information contained on this website and cannot be held liable for any person/s who may suffer loss relying on any information contained on this website. We disclaim all implied and/or express warranties, take no responsibility and assume no liability for the content of this website.

Except as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, Interiors Online will not be liable for any loss whatsoever (including, without limitation, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of profits or loss of opportunity), expense, damage, or injury that is suffered in connection with your access to, or use of, or inability to use this website, the content or materials of this website or any purchases made through this website, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Interiors Online accepts no liability for any error in data or other information transmitted through this website, whether that error is caused by you or any technical malfunction or or unauthorised access to or alteration of data or other information transmitted through this website or of any information contained on this website.

 

Severability:

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, that part will be severed from this agreement and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

 

Refunds & Returns Policy:

Interiors Online products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For further information as to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, please visit the Australian Consumer Law website.

To the full extent permitted by law (including under the Australian Consumer Law), Interiors Online excludes all other guarantees, warranties, conditions and other terms whether express or implied and whether arising from statute, common law, trade custom or otherwise. Where any guarantee, warranty, condition or other terms cannot be lawfully excluded then, to the extent that permitted by the relevant law or statute. Interiors Online liability is limited set out above for a breach of a guarantee, condition or a warranty implied by that statute.

Interiors Online will only make, and is only obligated to make, a refund in accordance with the Refunds & Returns Policy, the guidelines for eligibility are detailed in this policy.

 

Refund Policy

1. Where your products are damaged in transit

We carry transit insurance to protect our customer’s purchases, however where you have signed for goods without outlining any faults or damage then these goods may not be covered by transit insurance. You must inspect your goods upon delivery and outline any faults or damage on the delivery note before signing it. You must ask the driver to initial your remarks. If possible, please take a photo of the damage immediately following the delivery.

You must notify Interiors Online of any faulty or damaged goods within 24 hours of receipt of the goods. Failure to do so will mean that any transit policy will be voided.

2. Your goods have a manufacturers fault/flaw.

If you detect a manufacturers fault with your item you must notify us within 7 days. You will be offered a replacement item if available. If a replacement item is not available you will be offered a similar item at a similar price or a refund. A refund is not available if a replacement item is available. Faults not reported within 7 days are not eligible for a refund.

3. The incorrect item has been delivered to you

Please contact Interiors Online within 24 hours of the delivery of an incorrect item. We will arrange for the collection of the incorrect item and delivery of the correct item. You will not incur any additional costs in this circumstance. Your replacement item will be delivered to you within the normal delivery time frame for that item.

4. Goods damaged by you and natural wear and tear.

We will not accept the return of goods that are damaged by you (accidentally or otherwise) or due to natural wear and tear following delivery.

5. Method and payment of refunds.

You accept that all refunds will be provided to you by electronic funds transfer to your nominated account or in any other way decided at the discretion of Interiors Online.

6. Change of Mind

As we are an online-only store who source products from physical suppliers and manufacturers, Interiors Online cannot offer returns or refunds on goods you have purchased based solely on a change of mind. While Interiors Online aims to provide you with as much information as possible about the products offered for sale on this website in order to assist you with making the best possible purchase decision, you acknowledge that, subject to the Refunds and Returns Policy and to the Cancellation of Order Procedure contained in these Terms and Conditions, all purchases of goods from this website are final.

You accept you will not be entitled to refuse delivery of goods nor request a return, refund or exchange of goods you have purchased from this website on the basis that you have changed your mind about the purchase of the goods.

 

Cancellation of Order

You may cancel an order only if the order has not been placed with the supplier, however the following charges will apply:

(i) if your order has not been placed with the supplier and you have paid by cheque or electronic funds transfer we will issue you with a full 100% refund less any transaction costs and bank fees incurred by Interiors Online.
(ii) if your order has not been placed with the supplier and you have paid by credit card either over the phone or via our online payment system you will be offered a full refund less any fees charged to us by the bank to make the refund transaction.

 

Colours of products

We take care to ensure we provide you with accurate colour descriptions and images, however there may be reasons why the colour of your item on arrival is not as depicted on your screen.

1. Colours of products displayed on your computer monitor may vary from the actual colour of the item you are purchasing, due to the high variance in colours utilised by computer monitors.

2. Many of our products are hand made and there may be variance in colour or pattern for this reason. Products where this may occur have this noted on the item description.

We will not offer a refund due to a variation in colour from that depicted on our website and your screen.

 

Rewards (Invite a Friend)

  1. How it Works

    1. If you invite a friend (by sending a referral through the website or by giving them &/or publishing your personal link) and this friend makes a purchase through the website; Interiors Online may, in its discretion and subject to the conditions below, grant you a $30 reward to spend on any purchase within our website.

  2. Conditions:

    1. If the friend is already a member, or they have purchased through this website before, or you or any other person have received a reward from referring that friend previously (whether using their current or a different email address or alias); you will not be entitled to a reward.

    2. The system must recognise the friend in order for you to receive the reward, it will do this by:

      1. Recognising their email that is related to the invite that you sent them

      2. Recognising the link that they used to start shopping

  1. Interiors Online has the right to change the rewards offered at any time and/or to cancel the reward scheme.

  2. In some cases the system may not recognise the connection between you and your friend and will not register the rewards. Interiors Online is not obliged to offer you the rewards.

  3. In the case that the system reports incorrectly or Interiors Online has reason to believe that the rewards received by you are not in accordance with the rewards program or these Terms and Conditions, Interiors Online, has the right to revoke any or all rewards.

Interiors Online is covered by the Australian Privacy Principles made under the Privacy Act 1988.

We understand that protecting your privacy is important to obtaining and holding your trust.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the state of South Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the state of South Australia, Australia.
